Wasatch Music Alliance
Formed in February 2021, the Wasatch Music Alliance fosters and promotes the concept of the adult music performance community and provides the citizens of American Fork exposure to Concert Band and Jazz performances through the Wasatch Winds and Wasatch Show Band.
The performance groups within the Wasatch Music Alliance consist of the Wasatch Winds and the Wasatch Show Band with the goals as follows:
- To prepare and perform music pieces from the full spectrum of Concert Band and Jazz Band literature.
- To provide adults with an opportunity to expand their musical skill within the context of a large ensemble.
- To provide entertainment and education to the community by means of public performance.
- To elevate and enhance the quality of life through exposure to music for those who perform with us as well as for those who listen and enjoy our performances.
- To provide a continuing opportunity for young adults to continue their involvement in music.
